Residue

Andre Pielage realizes complex spatial interventions with minimal and simple means. With materials like aluminum foil, handkerchiefs or cherrypickers he creates three-dimensional installations. In all his work the landscape or exhibition space is undergoing a transformation on which man is hardly prepared.
In this planting stock André Pielage suggests a situation where high water has been. Afterwards residues that are spread through the flood are always found back in the trees. The installation appears as a monumental version of an organic phenomenon, or as simply lost mooring buoys.
